African White Pelicans and other birds on the Kazinga Channel
Dusk (above) brings out the delicate pinks of the pelicans preening at the edge of the Kazinga Channel. (This is one of my favorite photographs - almost like a painting in the evening light.) Like other pelicans, they can fly so close to the water their wingtips sometimes catch the top of a wave.
