Giraffes

The giraffes I saw were at a distance and usually not close to other animals either. They didn't seem to be as comfortable around people as some of the antelopes and predators and, by keeping open space around themselves, probably improved their changes of spotting an approaching predator. Lions will sometimes attack giraffe.
