Peer educators are trained to counsel their peers on reproductive health issues. It's not always an easy job, but these young people were proud of their work.
The programs supported by UNFPA would be no use unless young people were engaged in the programs. While these young men and women were engaged by helping share health knowledge, everywhere I went it was clear to me that the programs were effective at engaging their intended audience.
